Join the Circle of Isis Rising on Saturday, September 19, 2015 as we celebrate Mabon, the Autumn Equinox! This is the time when light and darkness are balanced on Mother Earth with the light giving way to the dark part of the year that is approaching. This Sabbat will be dedicated to, Carlos Ferret, who recently crossed to the Summerland.
The Sabbat celebration will be held in the dining hall at Camp Greynolds, 18601 NE 22 Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL 33160.
Camp Greynolds is not in Greynolds Park. Directions from I-95 – take Miami Gardens Drive to NE 22nd Ave. Make a left onto NE 22nd Ave. The gate for Camp Greynolds will be on your right, just past the bus stop.
We begin gathering at 6 PM with ritual starting around 7 PM. After the ritual, enjoy an evening of music, fellowship, and a potluck meal. Bring your favorite dish to share. Come dressed in ritual robes or comfortable clothing. We ask for a minimum $13 donation.
Join us on Sunday, September 22, 2013 to celebrate Mabon!
We will be celebrating with a picnic and sabbat in Everglades National Park (Long Pine Key Section). There is a $10 per car fee paid to the park – they do great work on a tight budget.
-Visitors coming from the Miami area and points north should take the Florida Turnpike (Route 821) south until it ends merging with U.S. 1 at Florida City. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Palm Drive (State Road 9336/SW 344th St.) and follow the signs to the park.
-Visitors driving north from the Florida Keys should turn left on Palm Drive in Florida City and follow the signs to the park.
Make a left at the sign for Long Pine Key. It is approximately 6 miles past the visitor’s center. Follow the road and it will loop around at the lake at the end. We will be next to the lake on the right hand side.

The picnic will begin at noon, with the ritual starting at 1PM. Please bring a picnic dish to share with everyone, and plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated (It is easy to get dehydrated out there even if it is not hot). Bug repellent is also a good idea. Please note we will not have BBQ facilities available so everything must be cooked/prepared beforehand.
(Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone.)
